PREMIUM TASMANIAN WINE

Invercarron Vineyard is a new venture being established by brothers Andrew and Richard Jones. The 6ha vineyard is situated on a beautiful picturesque north facing block in Broadmarsh, Jordan Valley, Tasmania. This is a tightly held valley of farming properties with no other vineyards. The newly planted vineyard overlooks the family’s homestead ‘Valleyfield’. The homestead is thought to have been built by whaler Thomas Johnston in the late 1830s and sits on what was once the Invercarron estate.

CHARDONNAY, PINOT GRIS, ROSÉ AND SPARKLING ROSÉ.

There are three varietals planted in the vineyard: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. The aim is to produce ultra premium table and sparkling wines with a first vintage expected in 2020. A small parcel of fruit has been available ahead of schedule, providing small allocations available for a 2019 vintage. We are really excited to see what this vineyard in the Jordan Valley produces, to have fruit within 18 months is a great sign, this is exciting times for our family and it’s something that we hope to pass down to our children.
